DIagnosis Workshop Saturday December 6th, 2025
Diagnostics - Palpation: Pulse Level 1 - 10am-1pm
This course is designed to bridge the gap between what is taught in TCM schools and clinical presentations of standard pulses. This course focuses on correctly finding and describing the physical attributes of the pulse wave. Participants will learn how to define in words what is felt by the fingers. Indications and implications of general pulses will be discussed, but focus is on correctly taking the pulse and correctly identifying findings, in relation to what would be considered a health or normal pulse.
Diagnostics - Observation: Tongue & Auricular 2pm-5pm
A comprehensive guide to understanding Tongue Diagnosis, Auricular Therapy, and other visual clues to improve diagnosis. Review the principles and theories that inform the visual observation of the tongue and their implications on patient's health. Discover how Auricular Therapy can be used as both a diagnostic and therapeutic tool. Investigate other visual signs and their significance to TCM patterns that are easily added to your diagnostic wheelhouse. Learn to use these skills to quickly and confidently identify patterns of disease and to make your TCM diagnosis more accurate, thus making treatments more effective.
